Impact: Customers were unable to access eFaktura invoices

What Happened?

Between 28.02.2025 16:00 and 03.03.2025 15:09, customers attempting to open their eFaktura invoices experienced authentication errors Our investigation determined that the root cause was an update in our API gateway, which prevented authentication requests from being processed correctly.

Resolution

The team rolled back to the previous API gateway . Once deployed, we verified that customers could successfully access their invoices again.

Impact

  • Customer where not able to access their eFaktura

Preventive Measures

To prevent similar issues in the future, we are implementing the following:

  • The endpoint should not return status 200 for an authentication error.
  • Enhanced logging and alerting for authentication failures.

Identified

There is an issue opening invoices from the eFaktura Invoice Hotel for Norwegian eFaktura receivers. The problem has been identified, and we are working on resolving it.
